Welcome!
I’m Jacquelyn Tenaglia, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), consultant and coach. I work with highly driven and accomplished people who look like they “have it all together,” but privately are struggling. You might be juggling a lot of responsibility or feel pressure to keep up appearances, but feel burned out. You're functioning—maybe even excelling—but still feel unfulfilled.
My 18+ years of expertise encompasses anxiety, substance use (including nicotine), depression, ADHD, and men’s mental health. Most of my clients are working professionals and executives between the ages of 25-75. Many are perfectionists who hold themselves to impossibly high standards. Most are “people-pleasers” who give far more than they receive (whether at work or in their relationships). Some of my clients have damaged their relationships due to emotional unavailability, narcissistic tendencies or avoidant attachment patterns. Almost all of my clients are hard on themselves and/or others.
I provide therapy in a hybrid format: primarily virtual, with occasional in-person sessions in Boston’s historic Back Bay. I’m licensed in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, and am an out-of-state telehealth provider for Florida residents. I’m also fluent in Sign Language and proudly serve and support the D/deaf and Hard-of-Hearing communities.
